Dr Eddie Craghill combines working two days a week as a GP partner in Chorley with Performance Support as a Medical Officer at PGMOL and regular crowd doctor work. His specialist interests include event medicine, women’s health, education, and sport and exercise medicine.

His previous roles include Women’s Team Doctor for Manchester United (2018-23) and Lead Academy Doctor at Burnley FC (2016-18). These posts followed several years’ experience of medical provision in Rugby League.
Dr Eddie obtained his medical degree from the University of Liverpool in 2009 before completing GP training in 2014. He was awarded a Masters in Sport and Exercise Medicine from the University of Bath in 2019. He subsequently gained Membership of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine and a Postgraduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Diagnostic Ultrasound.
